Asante Kotoko winger Peter Amidu Acquah is expected to miss Sunday’s Ghana Premier League Matchday 22 clash against rivals Hearts of Oak, according to reports.
The Super Clash will be played on Sunday, February 15 at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi. Kotoko go into the game in fifth place with 35 points from 21 matches.
Hearts of Oak sit just one place above them in fourth position with 36 points, while Medeama lead the table with 43 points.
Kotoko have won only one of their last five league games and are in need of a boost ahead of the big match. However, Acquah is a doubt after reportedly picking up an injury, although the full details of the problem are yet to be confirmed.
The electric winger has been one of Kotoko’s best players this season, with seven assists to top the Ghana Premier League assists list.
