He insisted that Ashanti Regional supporters have massively contributed to the success of the club.

Togbe Afede XIV insists that Hearts of Oak supporters in Kumasi are inspirational to the success of the club.
 
 
"It's a great honour and privilege for me because you the fans of Kumasi, the Ashanti Region, are the backbone of our club," he admitted at an engagement with the supporters in Kumasi.
 
"You've been a tremendous inspiration and you have made it possible the various initiatives that we're taking to move Hearts of Oak to a different level," he added.
