Legon Cities are looking to revamp their squad ahead of the second round and are in talks to capture former Asante Kotoko winger Emmanuel Gyamfi in this January transfer window.

The 30-year-old has so much experience in the Ghanaian topflight and is notably remembered for his days at Asante Kotoko.

The versatile attacker spent five years with the Porcupine Warriors having joined them in 2016 and left in 2021 and really had a great spell and at some point was the captain. He also played a vital role in the club's FA Cup success in 2017.

Gyamfi's last competitive spell was with Aduana Stars where he spent three seasons having made 25 league appearances having tallied five goals and two assists in the last campaign.

However, rumours are surfacing that, Legon Cities FC are pushing harder for Gyamfi's signature with negotiations already ongoing with both parties expected to reach agreement very soon.

Emmanuel Gyamfi is currently without a club and is eager to return to competitive action as quick as possible.
