Asante Kotoko’s Sporting Affairs Manager, Kwesi Appiah, has underscored the club’s dedication to player welfare, highlighting prompt salary payments and lucrative bonuses as key benefits.

“This is a squad that occasionally receives salary payments as early as the 25th or 26th of each month,” Appiah said during an interview with Akoma FM. “The following day, they receive bonuses for winning matches.”

Appiah expressed confidence in the club’s ability to retain players, attributing it to strong leadership and a commitment to rewarding excellence.

“I don’t think any team can match the incentives Kotoko offers their players. We’re doing our best with the King’s assistance. Unless there are other factors, I’d be surprised if any player currently at Kotoko considered leaving,” he stated.

Asante Kotoko currently sit fifth on the Ghana Premier League table with 28 points, as they aim to improve their position in the second half of the season.
