Hearts of Oak head coach Mas-Ud Didi Dramani says poor decision-making cost his side victory after they were held to a 2-2 draw by Swedru All Blacks in the Ghana Premier League.

The Phobians hosted the Matchweek 27 match at the Accra Sports Stadium, hoping to end a run of four games without a win.

But a slow start left them with work to do, as they went into the break 2-0 down after a difficult first half.

Hearts of Oak improved after recess and fought back to level the match, but were unable to find a winning goal and had to settle for a point.

Speaking after the game, Dramani said his team created enough chances but failed to make the right choices at important moments.

“I think that it was an open game with so many scoring opportunities and so many chances, but once again we were very wasteful because before their goals we created more chances,” he said.

“Poor decisions in very key moments. I think that there’s still a lot to improve.”

The result means Hearts of Oak have now gone five home matches without a win, a run that is causing concern for the coach.

Dramani said his side must keep working hard, especially in attack, as they look to improve results in the remaining matches of the season.
