Match-week 30 of the ongoing Ghanaian top-flight was honored at the various league centers across the country this afternoon.

At the Nduom Stadium, visitors - AshantiGold took advantage to further sink struggling Elmina Sharks to ignite the crescendo of their fling with relegation, emerging 3-1 victors in a dramatic goal-fest match that yielded 4 goals within the spate of 77 minutes.

Derrick Afriyie broke the deadlock for the Miners in the 16th minute following a well-worked passing from the issue-stricken side, but Michelle Sarpong drew the home side level within three minutes.

Ali Mohammed restored AshantiGold’s lead in the 70th minute before the Miners added another goal seven minutes later via a spot-kick converted by Yaw Annor to give the maximum 3 points to the visitors.

The victory moved AshantiGold to the 10th spot on the log with 41 points, with Sharks on the other hand remain 18th on the log with 22 points, ‘fairly unsafe’.
