In week 24 of the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League, Nsoatreman FC emerged victorious with a 2-1 win over Tamale City at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium on Wednesday afternoon.
The win helped the home side move out of the relegation zone, climbing up from 16th to 14th place with 28 points from 24 games. Meanwhile, Nsoatreman FC maintained their 11th place position with 30 points.
Unfortunately for John Kofi, he scored an own goal with just seven minutes left in the game, giving Nsoatreman FC a glimmer of hope to equalize, which they did in stoppage time thanks to Walid Fuseini's goal.
However, Tamale City did not give up and continued to push for a winner, which came in the 95th minute when Mathew Agama scored to secure the victory for the home side.
In week 25, Tamale City will travel to Dormaa to play as guests to Aduana FC on Sunday, while Nsoatreman FC will host Bechem United on the same day.
