Medeama SC head coach Ibrahim Tanko has voiced his frustration over his team's inefficiency in front of goal during the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season, despite securing a 2-1 victory against Basake Holy Stars in an outstanding fixture at the TNA Stadium in Tarkwa.
The win marked Medeama’s second consecutive triumph, but Tanko was displeased with his side’s inability to convert more chances and their failure to maintain a clean sheet.
“I think the boys did well. In all the games we’ve played here, we score a lot of goals, but like I said the last time, we have to learn to kill the game even in the first half,” Tanko said. “We had the chances to score two or three goals in the first half, which would have made it easier for us.”
The result propelled Medeama to fourth place in the league standings, while Basake Holy Stars extended their winless run to nine matches.
