Medeama Sporting Club head coach Nebojsa Kapor provided a detailed analysis of his team’s goalless draw against Heart of Lions during their Week 5 Ghana Premier League encounter over the weekend.
Despite dominating the game and creating numerous chances, Medeama was unable to break the deadlock, leading to a frustrating draw at the Akoon Park on Saturday.
In his post-match remarks, Coach Kapor expressed disappointment over the missed opportunity to secure all three points but encouraged his team to move forward with a positive mindset as they prepare for their next fixture.
"Sunday's match was a little bit disappointing for us because of the result, but overall, the players and I had a discussion, and we are positive. For me, this is important," Kapor said. "We didn’t score, which was frustrating, but our performance, especially in the second half, was good. We created enough opportunities to win, but sometimes things don't go your way."
Despite the outcome, Kapor remains optimistic, acknowledging the many games still to come. "I'm not too disappointed because we have a lot of matches to play, and we can fix the issues we faced. My players have done well," he added.
Medeama SC will shift their focus to a midweek clash against FC Samartex on Wednesday, October 9, as they aim to bounce back and secure a much-needed victory.
