Medeama Sporting Club head coach, Nebojsa Kapor, is eagerly anticipating his team's clash against reigning champions FC Samartex in the Ghana Premier League.
The two sides are set to face off on Wednesday, October 9, to clear the only remaining outstanding fixture of the season.
In a pre-match press conference, Kapor described FC Samartex as the "perfect opponent" for Medeama, emphasizing the challenge and opportunity that lies ahead. Despite acknowledging the toughness of the contest, he expressed confidence in his squad's ability to secure a positive result.
"I'm not too disappointed because we have a lot of matches to play and can fix the issues we have to win. My players have done well. I’m positive and I hope we will have everything on our side in our next match. They are the perfect opponent. They are coming from the Champions League. They are the team that gained the title from us. We must back them on the field. This is an excellent opportunity and I’m very positive and expecting an excellent match," Kapor stated.
The highly anticipated match will kick off at 6 p.m. at TnA Stadium in Tarkwa, as Medeama SC aims to close the gap on their rivals in the title race.
