Heart of Lions forward Mustapha Yakubu says his side are determined to secure another positive result when they travel to face Hearts of Oak in the Ghana Premier League this weekend.
The Kpando-based club have endured a difficult start to the campaign, but their recent victory has lifted the mood in camp as they prepare for the match-week 10 encounter.
Yakubu believes the result will provide the team with the confidence needed to approach Sunday’s game, although he expects a competitive contest against the Phobians.
“It’s going to be a tough game but a nice game. As you can see, we are getting ready for the game on Sunday,” he told GFA Media.
The forward admitted that Heart of Lions have not had the season they hoped for so far but insists they are eager to turn their fortunes around and collect more points.
“We have been struggling this season, but we are hoping to turn things around. We won our last game, so we are hoping that will give us motivation. We need the points more than they do,” Yakubu added.
The match will take place at the University of Ghana Stadium on Sunday, November 8, with kick-off scheduled for 3:00 pm.
