Asante Kotoko’s versatile midfielder Justice Blay has set his sights on winning the Ghana Premier League in the upcoming campaign.

The Porcupine Warriors faced significant challenges last season, finishing sixth in the domestic top-flight as Samartex claimed the title.

Despite a major squad overhaul at the end of the season, Blay is one of the few players who remained with the club, and he is determined to play a key role in their resurgence.

Speaking to the media, the former Medeama midfielder expressed his strong desire to help Kotoko reclaim the league title next season.

“I’m expecting the best of me next season. For now, my target is to help Kotoko win the league for Asanteman,” Blay stated.

Asante Kotoko is currently deep into preparations for the 2024/25 campaign, having already secured two wins in preseason friendly matches. Their next fixture is against Medeama on Friday, part of the inauguration of the newly built TNA Park in Tarkwa.

Kotoko will officially kick off their Premier League campaign against Karela United, with Blay aiming to be a central figure in their quest for success.
