Medeama head coach, Evans Adotey, reveals his distinct coaching philosophy, placing a strong emphasis on defensive solidity.
Adotey's strategy prioritizes a solid defense, aiming to thwart opponents and secure victories through a robust defensive approach.
In a recent match, the Yellow and Mauves secured a narrow win over Nations FC at the Akoon Community, with Kamaradin Mamudu scoring the decisive goal in the 62nd minute.
The talented right-back tapped the ball in from close range, providing the winning margin at the Akoon Community Park.
Speaking after the game, Evans Adotey expressed his preference for victories without conceding goals.
"I am one coach, and my goalkeeper is here; he will tell you I prefer keeping clean sheets more than winning 3-2, 4-2, or 2-1," he explained.
"I favor 1-0, 2-0; I don't like 3-1, 3-2 – that is my coaching style, and if we score 1 goal without conceding, I am happy," he added.
With this victory, the champions have climbed to 11th place on the table, accumulating 7 points from five games, with one match still to be played.
The defeat has left the Premier League newcomers in the relegation zone with five points from six matches.
