Karela United head coach, Nurudeen Amadu, says his target is to ensure the club escapes relegation after the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season.

The ‘Pride and Passion’ have won twice in their last six games in the ongoing Ghana Premier League.

Karela United lost 1-0 to Nations FC in the Matchweek 26 fixture played at the Dr Kwame Kyei Sports Complex on Monday afternoon.

Coach Amadu was speaking at the post-match interview after their match against Nations FC.

“The ultimate goal is to escape relegation at the end of the season. I took over the team along the line, so I will manage the situation and ensure the team survives relegation” he said.

Karela United are currently languishing in 15th position on the league log with 25 points after 26 matches in the Premier League.

Amadu believes he can make his boys crack the whip and ensure they put in the much-needed work to beat Aduana Stars on Sunday, April 13, in the Matchweek 27 fixture.
