Throughout the team's pre-season training sessions, the remarkable performances of this gifted winger attracted the attention of the technical staff, led by Prosper Narteh Ogum.
The enthusiastic youngster underwent his medical examination on Tuesday in Kumasi and formally inked his commitment, binding him to the club until 2026.
Before joining Asante Kotoko, Somuah had been actively engaged with the Colts side, Afigya Liberty.
Impressively, Somuah achieved a remarkable tally of 22 goals during the previous season with his former club. Since his involvement in three matches with Kotoko, he has swiftly captured the affection of the fans.
His exceptional display was highlighted in Asante Kotoko's recent commanding triumph of 5-1 over Cornerstone FC, during which Somuah contributed two goals to the final score. Additionally, he secured the decisive goal in the club's 1-0 victory during a pre-season friendly against Asekem on a Wednesday afternoon.
