Asante Kotoko have officially announced the capture of Legon Cities FC left-back Joseph Amoah ahead of the 2025/26 football season
The 21-year-old is joining the heavyweights on a four-year contract after a fruitful negotiations and passing all mandatory medical tests
He becomes the seventh signing of Asante Kotoko in the ongoing transfer window after the arrival of Aziz Haruna Dari, Francis Acquah, Hubert Gyau, Zackaria Fuseini, and Johnson Owusu Oppong and Seth Kwadwo
Amoah, who joined the Royals from lower-tier side Benab FC last season, has been a pivotal player for the team. During his inaugural season, he recorded four goals and eight assists in 24 appearances.
The mercurial full-back was recently linked with a move to join several clubs notably Kotoko’s bitter rivals Hearts of Oak but the deal fall short in the process.
Joseph Amoah will join the team’s training session at Adako-Jacchie and is expected to mark his debut on Sunday against rivals Hearts of Oak in the President Cup
