Bechem United have officially appointed Kobina Amissah as their new head coach and comes in as replacement for Desmond Issah-Botchway, as reported to you earlier by your trusted sports-hub Kickgh.com.

Official club statement on social media:

“OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT The wait is over!  The experienced gaffer KOBINA AMISSAH is now officially at the helm as our Head Coach! Let’s welcome him and get ready for an exciting journey ahead!”

Amissah, a well-regarded figure within Ghanaian football circles, was unveiled alongside Mallam Yahaya, who will serve as his assistant.

A seasoned campaigner, Amissah has managed several Premier League sides, including Elmina Sharks, Sekondi Hasaacas, and Berekum Chelsea.

However, his crowning moment came when he led Bibiani GoldStars to their first-ever promotion to the Ghanaian top flight, a feat that cemented his reputation as a promotion specialist.

Kobina Amissah’s duty at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park starts now and his first test will be a demanding Matchday 9 clash away to Young Apostles this weekend, as he looks to inspire a much-needed turnaround for the wounded Hunters.
