Ghanaian giants Asante Kotoko has announced the appointment of Abdul Karim Zito as the new head coach of the club.
The Porcupine Warriors official portal revealed on Tuesday morning that Zito will act as interim coach and Technical Director.
Zito has been in charge of fellow Ghana Premier League side, Dreams FC, were he led the club to an historic CAF Confederation Cup semi-final. He also guided the Ghana U20 team to the 2021 U-20 Afcon title.
As he has taken the reins at the Ghanaian powerhouse, he will be supported by his technical team of Prince Yaw Owusu, and Malik Jabir, who previously served as Technical Director, now being named as Technical Advisor.
