Ghana Premier League side, Legon Cities FC have announced the signing of defensive-midfielder Baffour Yamoah Holifield ahead of the 2024/25 football season.
The 20-year-old sensation is joining the Royals on a two-year contract after an impressive and successful trial period with the club.
Official club statement on Facebook reads; "Solidifying our defense!"
"We are pleased to announce the signing of Baffour Yamoah Holifield, a skilled defensive midfielder from Inter Millas FC on a 2 year deal. 𝑾𝒆𝒍𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒆 𝒕𝒐 𝑹𝒐𝒚𝒂𝒍𝒕𝒚 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑹𝒐𝒄k."
He is joining from Accra-based second division side Inter Milas FC where he spent two years and ensured he went through a smooth development to be ready and poised for this task.
Baffour, has been with the club throughout their preseason and his trials started mainly from the Nsenkyire Cup where he excelled and impressed coach Paa Kwasi Fabin and other technical members in Samreboi- main reason he earned himself a permanent stay subsequently.
Legon Cities FC have made some other signings to establish a redoubtable side with no blemishes ahead of the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League campaign which commences in few days time.
They will play as guests to Bibiani Goldstars in their opening game on Sunday, September 8, at the Dun's Park.
