The president of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku has stated that the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season is currently experiencing high levels of excitement and intensity.
According to the GFA capo, looking at the competitiveness of matches and how the clubs are looking to force their way into contention for the title.
Temporary table-toppers Bibiani Gold Stars, Nations FC, Heart of Lions, Asante Kotoko, Medeama, Hearts of Oak and Samartex are all competing for the league gong.
On the bottom dwelling, the relegation dog-fight has been intriguing, with a cluster of teams in the middle of the league standing struggling for breath and battling to remain in the league.
“It's been a good season. Whether good or some negative vibes, it's been a good journey. The battle for the Premier League has been immense while the relegation dog-fight has been interesting. The season can be better but it’s been good so far," Okraku stated on Original FM.
With just five games to bring the season to a closure, Okraku who has racked-up the position of a second vice president of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) believes the best club will win the trophy, and looks forward to see the fans going through their choir book of club anthems and singing their throats out.
