Hearts of Oak midfielder Zaid Suraj has expressed confidence that the Phobians are fully prepared for their Boxing Day clash against FC Samartex following weeks of intense training.

The Phobians head into the fixture with mixed recent form, having recorded two wins, two draws and one defeat in their last five Ghana Premier League matches. Despite the inconsistency, Suraj believes the work done on the training ground has put the team in a strong position ahead of the encounter.

“I think from our training we have been working hard to win the match. Our aim is to win the league, so we will try to beat Samartex to make the fans happy,” Suraj told Hearts of Oak TV.

The midfielder also highlighted the growing unity within the squad, noting clear signs of improvement in performance and attitude during recent sessions.

“We are prepared. We will push harder and make sure we win the match. I can see from the training that everyone is ready, and there has been improvement in the team,” he added.

Hearts of Oak will host FC Samartex at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium on Boxing Day, with kickoff scheduled for 3:30 pm, as they look to strengthen their title push and reward their supporters with a positive result.
