Abdul Karim Zito, Asante Kotoko coach, has expressed satisfaction towards the performance of his team despite failing to secure maximum points against GoldStars.
The Porcupine Warriors got held in Bibiani by the Miners despite posing series of threats in a very herculean Ghana Premier League match-day 19 encounter.
One of the major talking points after the game had to do with Kotoko being denied a very clear goal after skipper Samba O’Neil connected into the net with a towering header in the 83rd minute from Lord Amoah’s cross.
In a post-match interview, the experienced tactician was pleased that players sticked to their game plan and went by it accordingly
“Tactically, we came in with a game plan, and the game plan worked to perfection. If you look at how we played today and the way we played in Kumasi, there is a lot of difference in today’s game, and I’m very satisfied with the way the boys played today,” Karim Zito said.
Asante Kotoko are still in fourth place with 32 points after the draw and will definitely be hoping for a revenge when they host Basake Holy Stars in the next round of matches
