Mezack Afriyie, the sharpshooter for Berekum Chelsea, exudes confidence in his team's ability to secure a top-four position as the Ghana Premier League season draws to a close.
Currently positioned eighth in the league standings with 44 points and four games remaining, the former Ghana Premier League champions have maintained a competitive record of 13 wins, 5 draws, and 12 defeats in 30 matches.
In an interview, Afriyie expressed his optimism regarding Berekum Chelsea's aspirations for a top-four finish.
"Our target is at least to finish among the top four teams at the end of the Ghana Premier League season, and we are very confident about that," he stated.
Despite a slightly subdued performance this season, with only 5 goals and 2 assists in 25 games, the 20-year-old remains determined to contribute to his team's success.
While Afriyie may not have replicated his previous season's headline-grabbing form, he remains a vital part of Berekum Chelsea's lineup as they prepare to face Great Olympics in matchday 31 at the Accra Sports Stadium.
