Communications Director of Port City FC, Kofi Jerry, says the newly promoted side has the financial strength to sign any player in the Ghana Premier League.
Speaking about the club’s plans ahead of next season, Jerry insisted money will not stop the club from bringing in quality players.
“We don't have financial problems. We can sign any player we want in the GPL,” Kofi Jerry said. “However, we have a structured system at the club, and our players are paid both weekly and monthly.”
The comments show the ambition of Port City FC as the club prepares for its first season in the Ghana Premier League after winning the Division One League Zone Three title.
The Kukurantumi based side has already added experienced players to its squad, including former Accra Hearts of Oak striker Isaac Mensah and former Aduana FC winger Zakaria Mumuni.
Jerry also stressed that the club remains committed to proper player welfare and financial discipline through its payment structure.
