Nsoatreman FC have reacted with repulsion over violent rampage that transpired during their Ghana Premier League match against Asante Kotoko.




The electrifying Matchday 19 fixture between the Efiri Tete Amanaso and Kotoko at Nana Koromansah II Park was disrupted for a few minutes when a fight broke out on the field of play.



The altercation was between the players and staff from both teams, which later extended to the fans which resulted in the tragic death of a Kotoko supporter, Francis Frimpong, affectionately known as Pooley.



Pooley was stabbed by unidentified attackers while attempting self-protection.



In the wake of the match, Nsoatreman has issued a statement condemning the incidents that occured while offering their condolences to Asante Kotoko.



Efiri Tete Amanaso also underscored its resolve to fully cooperate in light of the pending investigation.



In addition, the Ghana Football Association (GFA) has enforced a ban on Nana Koromansah II Park.
