Asante Kotoko gaffer, Prosper Narteh Ogum, says Franck Etouga Mbella and Andews Apau scored two classic goals against Medeama.

Franck Etouga Mbella and Andews Apau strikes gunned down Medeama as Asante Kotoko beat them by 2-0 at the Akoon Park.

Andrews Appau headed home from the near post to give the Porcupine Warriors the lead before Cameroon striker, Etouga Mbella, rounded off the goalkeeper to double the lead.

Asante Kotoko are currently on top of the league with fifty-nine points after thirty-one games with one game in hand.

Prosper Narteh admits that the goals against Medeama were 'international standard' as he praises Etouga Mbella and Andrews Apau.

"I think both are classic goals. I like all of them," he admitted after the game.

"They are all international standard goals if you look at Apau coming from the back post or the far post to jump and soar higher than all of them including [Vincent] Atinga, the tallest player and scoring from the near post was fantastic.

"Etouga rounding off the goalkeeper, I think it's a photocopy of the goal he scored at WAFA, it's almost a photocopy of it so they are two classical goals and then congratulations to them," he explained.

Asante Kotoko will clear their outstanding game against regional rivals, Ashanti Gold on Thursday at the Len Clay stadium.
