Dreams FC coach Wilfred Dormon says a red card played a decisive role in their 3–2 defeat to Bibiani Goldstars in Week 16 of the Ghana Premier League at Dun’s Park on Sunday, December 28, 2025.

The Miners came from 2–0 down to snatch a dramatic win after visiting Dreams FC were reduced to ten men following the sending off of Adams Aminu. Before the dismissal, the Still Believe lads were leading the fire-oozing clash.

“It was a decent game. We started the game very high and managed to close the first half. In the second half, we did some tactical adjustment and our opponent also made some changes to their play. My disappointment was the red card, it really affected us. We didn’t defend well, we lost our shape and lost our discipline and conceded a late goal,” Dormon stated after the game.

“I’m impressed with my boys performance but very disappointed with the result. To be fair, on the balance of play, at least we deserve something from this game. We were unlucky, they took their moment and won the match.”

Dreams FC had looked in control early, with Salifu scoring twice in the first 20 minutes to give the visitors a deserved lead. However, Bibiani Goldstars fought back after the break, scoring in the 74th minute and equalising late, before clinching victory in the dying embers.

The defeat leaves Dreams FC 15th in the table, continuing their winless run on the road, while Goldstars remain fifth with 20 points. Dreams will aim to bounce back at home against Basake Holy Stars, while Bibiani Goldstars host second-placed Medeama SC as they will hope to secure back-to-back wins.
