According to reports in the local media, Madam Evelyn Nsiah Asare has requested for medical reports of Asante Kotoko players but those have been dismissed as false by Kumasi-based Opemsuo Radio

The claims had suggested that Nsiah Asare, who serves as Personal Assistant to the club’s Board Chairman James Osei Brown, had approached the club’s medical team—raising concerns that the move may have been sanctioned by the new leadership.

Nsiah Asare remains a highly experienced figure within the Ghanaian game, having previously served as Chief Executive Officer of Ghana Women’s Premier League side Hasaacas Ladies and has also served at Asante Kotoko.

The newly constituted Kotoko board, established by Otumfuo Osei Tutu II in February, is yet to outline its vision and strategic direction for the club moving forward.

Meanwhile, Kotoko’s focus on the pitch remains steady, following their impressive 3-0 victory over Nations FC—a result that marked their first league win over their regional rivals and lifted them to third place with 42 points.

The Porcupine Warriors will next travel to Dormaa to face Aduana FC as they continue their push up the table.
