Former Administrative Manager for Asante Kotoko Emmanuel Newton Dasoberi has shared the club's vision for the upcoming 2024/25 football season.

In an interview with Akoma FM on Wednesday, June 26, Dasoberi revealed that the club intends to work with a smaller squad of no more than 26 players next season.

According to Dasoberi, the club is committed to signing only players who are in good shape and prepared to contribute to the team.

He reassured fans that the club is determined to build a strong and cohesive unit, saying, "We will work with a maximum of 26 players, and I want to assure our fans that we are signing players who are ready and fit to play for Asante Kotoko."

Last season, Asante Kotoko faced challenges in the Ghana Premier League, finishing 6th at the campaign's end.

The commitment of many players who featured for the Reds was called into question, and by the season's close, the club had already offloaded as many as 21 players.
