Asante Kotoko coach Prosper Narteh Ogum has lauded the exceptional performances of Richmond Lamptey, labeling him one of the best players in the Ghana Premier League this season.

Lamptey, a 26-year-old central midfielder, earned a well-deserved spot in the 27-man squad announced by Black Stars head coach Chris Hughton for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).

Ogum expressed admiration for Lamptey's game understanding, decision-making ability, and his significant contributions to Asante Kotoko, noting that Lamptey's style of play brings excitement to the Ghanaian top-flight.
