Lanky defender Samuel Amofa has reportedly reached agreement with his hometown club Berekum Chelsea and is very close to officially joining them ahead of the 2025/26 football season.
Amofa, had his last spell at giants Hearts of Oak where he switched to last year from Bibiani GoldStars but had his remaining two years terminated in mainly due to struggling to establish himself as a mainstay in the team.
The 26-year-old despite coming in highly-recommended couldn’t secure a permanent starting berth for himself and made only 18 league appearances in the last campaign
However, the versatile defender has reportedly returned home to join Berekum Chelsea and has already arrived for pre-season and is set to be officially unveiled.
Samuel Amofa will definitely look to rediscover his form as he hopes to bounce back stronger and help the Bibires achieve success.
He is one of the most experienced players in the league with over 100 appearances to his name.
