Former Ghanaian international, Samuel Inkoom has tipped his former club Asante Kotoko to win the Ghana Premier League this season should they continue with their recent stellar form.
The Porcupine Warriors are currently on an impressive four-game winning streak and made it even better over the weekend after coming from behind to beat their eternal rivals Hearts of Oak 2-3 in match-day 14 over the weekend.
The 'Kum Apem' lads despite the impressive run haven't climbed up into the top four and are currently on the 7th position with 22 points, and are four points behind leaders Aduana Stars.
In his recent interview, the ex- Black Stars star has urged the current Kotoko squad to continue stay consistent with their current form and he strongly believes they will win the league should they continue like this.
"I think they are on course, they played a good game against Hearts of Oak and I hope they will continue like that," Inkoom said. "I think everything was perfect, they were tactically disciplined on the pitch, they took their chances and at the end of the day they have won."
"I will urge them to continue this way. Playing Hearts of Oak is a different atmosphere, different environment and you can see everybody is happy when they won. I believe they can win the trophy if they stay focus."
Samuel Inkoom was part of Asante Kotoko league winning squad in the 2007/08 season.
