Hearts of Oak board member, Dr. Nyaho Tamakloe has admitted things hasn't been too good with the club but has assured the supporters of an improved performance very soon.
The 'Phobians' haven't been really convincing since the start of the season, with their form being kinda on and off and the recent happenings at the club has made majority of their fans very angry and worried.
It was made even worse over the weekend when they gave away a goal-lead to succumb to a painful 2-3 loss to their bitter rivals Asante Kotoko in Kumasi.
After fourteen matches so far in the league, the Rainbow Club have three wins, four loses and seven draws, and are currently found on the ninth position with 16 points on the table.
Speaking on Asempa FM in Accra, the experience football administrator has urged all Hearts supporters to be patient and added they have put things in the right place and believes the team will bounce back stronger very soon.
"I agree entirely the fans are not happy but if you have been following the style of play by Hearts of Oak, yesterday, they were aggressive, fast and very stubborn and that is what modern football is all about."
“Now if fans are not happy, I agree with them because what they want are goals but look at the performance of Chelsea at the moment. It is so surprising but in football, you cannot many at times predict.
“Look at the performance of Manchester City recently that is football.
“So I don’t have anything against a fan who is not happy. What the fans want is to see goals however in the coming weeks, I believe strongly that they will see a different Hearts of Oak,”
Hearts of Oak will face regional rivals Great Olympics in the Ga-Mantse derby on Friday, December 22, 2023.
