Elmina Sharks ready to do battle with Liberty Professionals in the quarter finals of the M.T.N FA Cup.
Division one side Elmina Sharks is hopeful of masterminding a victory against Liberty professionals in the MTN FA cup quarter finals.The club sailed through the last 8 of the competition and was paired with the Dansoman based club.
Speaking to Kickgh's Shakino,the Public Relations Officer of the club Mr.Richard was okay with the draw and was optimistic about a fruitful results,'Its a good draw,both teams like possessive football so I believe it will be an entertaining game to watch, i would say its one of the best pairings so far.'
The Elmina based club is set to battle it out with Premier league side Liberty but the official of the club claims his side is not nervous about them playing a team in the top flight.'We have had little difficulties playing premier clubs,that was evident in our pre season games,only Kotoko and Berekum Fc were able to beat us.'He said.
The second tier side is looking forward to the match and the official of the club admits intensive preparations are underway,'We always train and prepare,both in the league and the cup,we will study our opponents, I am sure we will do well.'
When asked about motivation,Mr Aning revealed President of the club has talked to the boys about the need to win this competition.
'The players know and our president told them,we must go to Africa,if that would be possible,we must win this Fa Cup.
The Cape Coast side is seeking promotion into the Ghana premier league
