Heart of Lions deputy coach, Daniel Nii Adjei has congratulated Hearts of Oak after their defeat and feels they were slightly ahead in the game and deserved to win

It was a revenge and redemption time for the Phobians who secured a narrow 1-0 win over the Giant Killers in what was an exciting match-day 19 opener of the Ghana Premier League last Friday night.

The game was really an exciting one with both teams taking it at each other and made some dangerous goal attempts throughout but it was Mawuli Wayo's second half penalty that made the difference after full time.

Speaking after the game, the former Kotoko midfielder enjoyed the performance of his players and attributed their defeat to hardluck. He added they will work on certain aspects of their play before their next game.

"It was a good game. The boys did their best buy we conceded a loa goal but we will bounce back.

"Football is like that sometimes you create chances but cannot score. I'm proud of the boys, I will say it's a hardluck. Congratulations to Hearts of Oak."

The 'Dzie Woa Nu' outfit despite the defeat remain in the third position with 33 points and will host Dreams FC in match-day 20.
