Aduana FC head coach Samuel Boadu praised his players for their mental strength after they came from behind to beat Swedru All Blacks in the Ghana Premier League on Sunday.

The Ogya lads welcomed All Blacks to the Nana Agyemang Badu Park in their Matchweek Five fixture, hoping to make it three league wins in a row.

Swedru All Blacks took an early lead, but Aduana responded through Stephen Amankona, who scored twice to give the hosts a 2-1 victory.

Boadu was pleased with the way his players reacted after falling behind and praised them for fighting until the final whistle.

“The players are very happy with the win because it wasn’t an easy game. For an away team to score the first goal I knew it was going to be difficult. But the boys were mentally tough and they came back to cancel the goal and add another goal.

“It wasn’t an easy game so the boys did well to comeback and win the match,” Boadu said after the game.

The victory moves Aduana FC up to fourth in the Ghana Premier League table with 10 points, just one point behind defending champions and league leaders Medeama SC.
