Medeama SC head coach, Ibrahim Tanko said losing to Hearts of Oak over weekend was a very painful one but will have to put that behind and focus on their subsequent games.
The Mauves and Yellows had their two-game winning streak halted after a slim 1-0 loss to the giants in Accra last Sunday, thanks to a fantastic belter from Raphael Amponsah in the first half.
Speaking after the game, the former Borussia Dortmund forward feels they created more chances and dominated the game but conceded against the round of play and that makes it a very hard loss to take.
"I think is a very painful defeat, looking at how the game went," disappointed Tanko said.
"We conceded a goal that we normally don't concede. After the goal, we came back very strongly, we had all the chances.
"I think that is the only chance they had in the first half, is not even a chance.
"A long shot and they score, but in terms of performance, I think they did very well, and definitely we are not happy about the results," he added.
Medeama SC are currently in sixth position with 38 points and will face Dreams FC in the next round of matches.
