Medeama SC midfielder Salim Adams has declared that the final stretch of the Ghana Premier League season will be treated as a series of cup finals as the club intensifies its push for the title.

Adams was instrumental in Medeama’s commanding 4-0 victory over Asante Kotoko in their Week 29 encounter at the TnA Stadium, scoring twice in a dominant performance that underlined the team’s championship ambitions.

The midfielder delivered a Man of the Match display, helping the Yellow and Mauves overwhelm the Porcupine Warriors with an assertive and confident showing from start to finish.

Speaking after the match, Adams revealed that Medeama approached the fixture with strong belief even before kick-off, insisting the squad was convinced they could produce a big result against Kotoko.

According to him, the confidence within the camp was so high that the team even felt capable of scoring four goals in the first half alone.

With just five matches remaining in the season, Adams stressed that Medeama are fully focused on maintaining their momentum and collecting maximum points in every game.

He emphasized that the title race is now in their own hands, making consistency crucial in the final run-in.

“If you look at where we are in the league, we cannot let our guard down. Now everything is in our hands, so we go into every game confident to pick all three points,” Adams said.

“We will go for the three points in the rest of the games, and all five matches will be like finals for us,” he added.

Medeama SC now turn their attention to their next Ghana Premier League fixture against Berekum Chelsea, as they continue their charge towards potential league glory.
