President of Vision FC, Michael Osekre has written a poignant statement to the club's esteemed followers, sponsors, and the entire Eewo family, contemplating a season marked by successes, challenges, and a profound personal loss that has significantly impacted the club.

The statement was originally supposed to signal the conclusion of the team's first season in the Ghana Premier League, but it was postponed after the tragic announcement of Vision FC star Habib Ganiu's untimely death earlier this week.

In a sombre homage, Mr. Osekre praised Habib's commitment and unshakeable passion, calling him "integral in the team's qualification" to the elite level. Osekre said, "He will be greatly missed," and prayed for Habib's soul to rest in peace.

In the midst of the sadness, the club president focused on Vision FC's journey throughout their first season in the top flight, which was full of "highs and lows," but was supported by the fans' unwavering faith and belief.

A portion of a statement reads: “"From the very first game of the season, when we held Berekum Chelsea to a thrilling draw at home, you made Nii Adjei Kraku II Sports Complex a fortress," Osekre recounted. He highlighted memorable victories over elite clubs including champions Gold Stars, former champions Medeama SC, and a historic thrashing of Asante Kotoko, describing it as a moment “that will forever live in our memories.”

Osekre also extended profound gratitude to the club's sponsors and partners, crediting them as “the backbone of our progress,” and key contributors to Vision FC’s incredible debut campaign in the Ghanaian top-flight league and rallied for more support and investment from the corporate world.
