Asante Kotoko goalkeeper, Frederick Asare, has stated that there is some aura of excitement hovering around the club following their superb start to the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season.
The Porcupine Warriors are yet to lose, having recorded four wins and two draws - manning second on the league table with fourteen points.
Meanwhile, after their impressive output so far, Asare has bemoaned their elation - calling his teammates to hang on and keep pushing for the ultimate.
"We are all happy with our progress and the quality we have shown in our games," Asare who doubles as the captain of the club told the Porcupines media.
"This is what the club deserves and each and every one of us will continue working hard to achieve the bigger objectives, but for now, we just have to keep our focus and take it game after game.
"However, I am impressed with the attitude of the boys," he added.
Asante Kotoko will face Legon Cities in an outstanding league game on Wednesday, October 23, at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium before travelling to Anyinase to neck-it-down with Basake Holy Stars in a matchday 8 fixture at the Crosby Awuah Memorial Stadium.
