“We studied the team, we appreciated their strength and our strength. I think we controlled the game right from the beginning. We looked a bit destabilized when we had the red card, and then we needed to manage the situation at that moment. At halftime, we had the moment to structure,” Dramani said.
The coach highlighted the team’s ability to adapt and manage the match after going down to ten players, underlining the professionalism and focus of his squad.
The win lifts Hearts of Oak to third place in the league standings with 39 points, narrowing the gap to leaders Medeama SC to just five points. With momentum on their side, the Phobians are now in strong contention in the title race as the season reaches its critical stages.
