Hearts of Oak head coach Mas-Ud Didi Dramani has set out his vision for the upcoming 2025/26 Ghana Premier League campaign, stressing his determination to restore the Phobians’ competitive edge across all fronts.

The Accra giants wrapped up pre-season in style with a 1-0 victory over Great Olympics in the 2025 Democracy Cup at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium, a result that has boosted confidence ahead of the new campaign.

Dramani, who signed a two-year contract to succeed Aboubakar Ouattara after last season’s disappointing, trophyless run, says Hearts of Oak must adopt a more aggressive and consistent approach to achieve their targets.

“Our goal is to compete aggressively in every competition within Ghana’s football structure,” the former Black Stars assistant coach told reporters. “Starting from our opener against Hohoe United, we must package ourselves strongly and maintain consistency in a sustainable way.”

Hearts of Oak will begin their league campaign with a Friday night fixture against newly promoted Hohoe United at the Accra Sports Stadium on September 12, with kick-off scheduled for 19:00 GMT.
