Gold Stars head coach Frimpong Manso has expressed frustration after his side was held to a 1-1 draw against Hearts of Oak, insisting they deserved to win based on their performance.
In a closely contested Ghana Premier League clash, Gold Stars created several goal-scoring opportunities but failed to capitalize, allowing Hearts of Oak to walk away with a point.
"We should have won the game because we created a lot of chances," Manso said after the match. "The boys played well, and we dominated in several phases, but unfortunately, we couldn’t convert our chances."
The result keeps Hearts of Oak in the top four as they prepare for a crucial fixture against Nations FC. Meanwhile, Gold Stars, who remain second in the standings, will look to return to winning ways when they face Heart of Lions in their next match.
