Asante Kotoko midfielder Hubert Gyau has expressed confidence that the Porcupine Warriors remain firmly in the race for the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League title.

Speaking ahead of the crucial clash against Accra Hearts of Oak on Sunday, Gyau emphasized that the team’s focus on the league remains unchanged despite the challenges they have faced this season.

“There are still many matches to play, and our focus on the league title hasn’t changed,” Gyau stated. “If we beat Hearts of Oak on Sunday, we believe we’ll still have a strong chance to win the league," he told Oyerepa FM.

The midfielder highlighted the importance of fan support as a driving force for the team’s success, urging supporters to rally behind Kotoko as they aim for victory in one of the most anticipated fixtures of the season.

Kotoko, currently among the top contenders in the league, sees the Sunday showdown against their arch-rivals as a pivotal moment in their title chase. Gyau’s remarks reflect the club’s determination to maintain momentum and keep their championship ambitions alive.
