Head coach of Asante Kotoko, Seydou Zerbo has opened up on how the team has been faring since the GPL went on a temporal break and added they have really improved despite facing some injury worries.

The 2022/23 Ghana Premier League had to be put on hold following a court injunction after just three round of matches.

The Porcupine Warriors before the break, suffered a painful exit from the first preliminary round of the CAF Champions League, and also recorded no defeat after their opening two league matches.

They have scored 16 goals and conceded only 3 in their last three friendly matches, exhibiting how sharp and productive the team has become.

Speaking to the media, the Burkinabe tactician has given his impression about the team and believes they are getting on really well but admitted they are still battling some injuries.

"We've worked hard and used this break period to raise the levels of all the players."

"Overall, we've had significant improvements though some are still recovering from injuries."
