Black Galaxies midfielder Hafiz Ibrahim has openly expressed his desire to play for Ghanaian giants Asante Kotoko, calling it a lifelong dream.
The 19-year-old, who currently plies his trade with Attram de Visser Academy, revealed his ambition in a recent interview, igniting speculation about his future.
Hafiz, known for his versatility across all midfield positions and occasional appearances as a right-back, spoke passionately about his admiration for the Porcupine Warriors.
"I'm more than willing to play for Asante Kotoko, as it's been a lifelong dream of mine. Wearing the iconic Asante Kotoko jersey would be a dream come true"
The young talent, however, acknowledged the need for any potential transfer to be conducted professionally, given his current commitment to Attram de Visser Academy.
"I'm currently under contract with Attram de Visser, so it's essential that Asante Kotoko reaches an agreement with my club. Once that's in place, I'll be more than happy to join the team," he added.
Hafiz has been a standout performer in Ghana's lower division, earning him a spot in the Black Galaxies squad. He is currently focused on preparing for Ghana’s crucial African Nations Championship (CHAN) qualifier against Nigeria, set for Sunday, December 22, 2024.
