Medeama SC suffered a 1-0 defeat in their Ghana Premier League Round 28 game against Bibiani Gold Stars at the Dunns Park last Sunday.

A late penalty which was converted by Samuel Atata Kumi ensured the Miners completed a resounding victory against the Yellow and Mauves.

Goalkeeper of Medeama, Felix Kyei believes the defeat was a painful one, but went ahead to implore his teammates to focus of annexing victory in their Matchweek 29 fixture against Young Apostles

“We came into the game with the mentality to win, but it didn’t happen. We are going back home to prepare for our next game. We will correct our mistakes and move forward. It’s a painful defeat. Conceding last-minute is worrying," Kyei said.

“We call on the fans to come and support us at home. We will fight for the three points for them.”

Medeam will neck-it-down with Young Apostles on Saturday, April 26 at the Tarkwa TnA Stadium.
