Ghanaian midfieder Henry Appiah Darko side Pelicans SC will qualify for the Dialog Champions League if they manage to beat Jupiters SC on Sunday.
The former Sekondi Eleven Wise enforcer and his club have opened a huge point lead and a win over Jupiters will put them beyond the reach of any club in case they loose all the remaining games.
The Sri Lankan second-tier side have won all their last 12 games and are poised for victory when they take on Jupiters Sc who are in sparkling form.
Appiah joined Pelicans SC on a season’s contract after leaving Sri Lanka Premier Side Don Bosco.
