The Udinese guardsman has been strongly linked to his former side.
The 23-year-old left-back returns from his loan spell at Perugia Calcio where he enjoyed a tremendous season.
He has contract with his parent club till 2019 and has been farmed out to Latina twice since joining Udinese in 2013.
Alhassan was a member of the Black Stars squad that placed fourth at the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations.
