The 2023/24 MTN FA Cup final has been confirmed to take place on June 23, at the newly-constructed University of Ghana Stadium.
The Legon Stadium is a 10,000 seater, which was completed recently and was part of the facilities that hosted the 13th edition of the African Games which ended two months ago.
Although it was established by the government of Ghana, the beautiful edifice has been handed to the authorities at the University of Ghana and won't be under the supervision of the National Sports Authority.
The much-anticipated final is expected to be an exciting one since it's a derby featuring two teams from the Bono region; Nsoatreman FC and Bofoakwa Tano FC.
Nsoatreman FC defeated Legon Cities by 2-1 in the first semi final, whiles Bofoakwa Tano FC also exhibited a great performance to edge holders Dreams FC by 2-1 in extra time to cruise into the final.
The MTN FA Cup final is slated for Sunday, June 23, 2024.
